Privacy Policy

Tabuki is a Chrome and Edge side-panel extension for searching open tabs and organizing saved pages into visual Canvases and groups. Workspace features work without an account.
Data stored on your device
Tabuki stores the following in your browser's extension storage:
- Saved page titles, URLs, favicons, groups, and ordering.
- Canvases, group names, colors, and ordering.
- Preferences such as language, recent-page count, cleanup count, and global theme.
- Account session information when you sign in.
Tabuki keeps the primary workspace in local extension storage. It also mirrors supported workspace data through Chrome extension sync storage, subject to the browser's account, quota, and sync settings.
Account and purchase-access data
If you enter an email address to buy or restore Pro, Tabuki processes it to associate and recover your one-time purchase or subscription. Workspace bookmarks are not uploaded to a separate Tabuki VIP-sync backend.
Billing data
One-time purchases and recurring subscriptions are processed by Waffo Pancake and the payment channel shown at checkout. Tabuki stores the information needed to associate access with an account, such as account email, order identifier, purchase or subscription status, billing-period timestamps, cancellation state, and refund state. Tabuki does not receive or store full payment-card details.
Service providers
Tabuki currently relies on the following providers to operate optional online features:
- Cloudflare and the mainland-China API hosting provider for regional purchase-access services.
- Resend for account verification emails.
- Waffo Pancake and its payment channels for checkout and payment events.
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. Tabuki does not sell personal data and does not include advertising trackers in the extension.
Browser permissions
Tabuki requests access to browser tabs, native tab groups, extension storage, favicons, the Side Panel API, and browser identity flows. These permissions are used to show and organize your tabs, save the pages you choose, keep local state, and authenticate optional cloud features. Tabuki does not use these permissions to read the body content of arbitrary web pages.
Retention and deletion
You can edit or delete saved pages, groups, and Canvases from Tabuki. Uninstalling the extension removes its local extension storage from that browser profile, subject to browser and sync behavior. It does not revoke or refund a one-time purchase and does not cancel a recurring subscription.
To request deletion of account or billing-association data held by Tabuki, contact 18881934641@163.com. We may retain limited transaction or security records where required for legal, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes.
Security
Tabuki uses signed authentication sessions and verifies payment webhooks before updating purchase access. No system can guarantee absolute security, so keep your browser profile and email account protected and avoid saving highly sensitive secrets as page notes.
Children's privacy
Tabuki is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.
