Terms of Service

Last updated: September 27, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Tabuki browser extension and this website (together, "Tabuki"). By installing or using Tabuki, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Tabuki.

The service

Tabuki is a browser extension that helps you search open tabs and organize saved web pages into Canvases and groups. Tabuki offers a local-first Free plan and optional paid Pro access. Workspace data is stored on your device and may be mirrored by Chrome extension sync storage.

Plans, fees, and billing cycle

Tabuki's Free plan may be used without a subscription. It currently allows one Canvas, three groups, two themes, unlimited saved pages, local extension storage, and supported Chrome browser sync.

Tabuki Pro includes unlimited Canvases, unlimited groups, and all themes. International users are currently offered a USD $2.99 monthly subscription. Mainland-China users can choose one-time access for 30 days, 365 days, or lifetime access; current CNY prices are shown on our Pricing page and at checkout.

Fees are charged through Waffo Pancake or the payment channel shown at purchase. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, the listed price does not include applicable taxes or payment-channel fees.

Renewal and cancellation

International monthly subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancellation takes effect under the timing shown by the payment channel, and access normally remains available through the paid billing period. Mainland-China 30-day, 365-day, and lifetime products are one-time purchases and do not automatically renew. Paid access may be revoked if it is refunded, reversed, fraudulent, or otherwise invalidated under these terms or applicable payment-channel rules.

Refund policy

Because Pro is digital access made available after payment confirmation, fees are generally non-refundable once charged. Except where required by applicable law or payment-channel rules, we do not provide refunds for unused access or accidental purchases.

Refunds may be issued for verified duplicate charges, confirmed billing errors, or other cases required by applicable law or the mandatory rules of the payment channel. If a payment channel, app store, or browser extension store provides its own refund process, refund requests must be submitted through that channel and will be handled under its policies. If applicable law gives you a mandatory refund or cancellation right, these terms do not limit that right.

For billing or refund questions, contact us at 18881934641@163.com with your account email, transaction ID, and a short description of the issue.

Billing disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us at 18881934641@163.com before filing a dispute or chargeback with your bank. We will review billing questions in good faith and work with Waffo Pancake or the applicable payment channel to correct verified billing errors.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Tabuki for its intended purpose. You may not resell, sublicense, or misrepresent Tabuki as your own product.

Acceptable use

Your data

Your Canvases and saved pages belong to you and are stored on your device. Supported workspace data may be mirrored through Chrome extension sync storage. Payment card data is processed by Waffo Pancake or the payment channel used at checkout and is not stored by us. See our Privacy Policy for details.

No warranty

Tabuki is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that Tabuki will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost. Please keep your own backups of anything important.

Disclaimer

Tabuki is a productivity tool for organizing links and browser pages. We are not responsible for the accuracy, safety, legality, availability, or content of third-party websites you save, open, tag, or organize with Tabuki. Multi-device sync depends on your browser sync account, network availability, backend availability, and device settings, so we cannot guarantee that sync will be available at all times or on every device.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use Tabuki.

Changes

We may update Tabuki and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.

We may change plan limits, Pro features, pricing, or billing rules in the future. For existing paid subscribers, price increases or material billing changes will apply only after notice as required by applicable law or the relevant payment channel's rules.

Consequences of violating these terms

If you breach these terms — for example, by using Tabuki for unlawful purposes, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the extension for malicious ends, interfering with its security, or reselling or misrepresenting it — we may take one or more of the following actions, depending on the severity of the violation:

If your violation causes claims, losses, chargebacks, penalties, damages, or expenses to us or to third parties, you are responsible for those consequences to the extent permitted by law. Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund except where required by applicable law or the payment channel's mandatory rules.

Termination

You may stop using Tabuki at any time by uninstalling the extension, which removes it and its local data from your browser, subject to browser sync behavior. Uninstalling Tabuki does not automatically cancel a recurring paid plan; you must cancel it through the payment channel or account page where you subscribed. We may discontinue Tabuki or any of its features at any time. We may also terminate your right to use Tabuki if you materially violate these terms, as described above.

Governing law and jurisdiction

Tabuki is offered to users globally. These terms are governed by applicable laws, without excluding any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your country or region of residence. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under local law.

If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled by a court or other competent dispute resolution body that has jurisdiction under applicable law. Where mandatory local law gives you the right to bring a claim in your country or region of residence, these terms do not limit that right.
